Anyone else having difficulty with the new passing system?

I don't know about everyone else but I can't seem to do anything right with the Vision and Precision Passing system. I've played about 4 games so far and have been getting sacked about 5 times per game, I have been throwing about 4 interceptions per game and I haven't completed more than 8 passes in a whole game. I don't think things can become worse than that. lol

Try looking at the line as soon as you snap the ball. That way you can see where the defense might be blitzing. This also lets you read the line and see where you can step up, to avoid getting sacked.

Not really, it's definately a change that takes some time getting used to. I immediately started my dynasty when I got the game home from work. Practiced for about 30 minutes, and started my pre-season. Against the Ravens Vick didn't fare too well, but Schaub excelled.

Vick was 5 for 12 with 67 yards, with 1 TD in the first half.
Schaub was 12 for 15 with 187 yards, with 2 TD in the second half.

Dunn ran for 47 yards in the first half.
Duckett ran for 97 yards and 2 TD's in the second half.

Just takes some time getting used to, not exactly sure I really like the feature, but time will tell.

I default the cone up the middle. At the snap, I drop back and make my reads, then switch the cone and throw. Or if I know I'm throwing one way, I'll default the cone to the other side of the field. Then change it and throw.

I guess I pretty much ignore the cone till I'm about to throw.

Try going into practice mode and choosing random plays against random defenses, which allows you to practice random patterns against different looks. (thats what I did and it helped)

Or if you get too frustrated play as either the colts or the packers and play a team with horrible defense (i.e. saints )..trust me it'll make u feel better

I think the cone makes passing too easy. The way it's set up is the way I always play since Madden 94 on the SNES. I try to pre determine my receiver before the snap and just try to concentrate on him, no Tecmo Bowl running to the right sideline and throwing left.


The player models have to go.....
