Madden 2006 vs. NFL 2K6

I hear you guys. I was disappointed with Madden's product last year, the first time in 12 years might I add. This year I think it's even worse. There is no way in hell I am paying for this game and here and now, I officially revoke my Madden Fanboy status.

SEGA should just buy the NBA licensed in retaliation. I already know I ain't buying NBA Live after seeing the videos.

actually nba06, nba2k6, and nbalive2006 all have rights to the NBA license. instead of restricting the market to one NBA game, the nba gave out three license rights.

normally someone would be murdered for even suggesting a flaw with Madden, let alone outright criticizing it, but even here on the Madden page the frustrationof $50 a pop annual buyers is surfacing. i think what angers me even more than taking away the choice is that they think we are so stupid that we will fall for their BS again. you can dip a turd in sprinkles and tell me it's a brownie, i'm not falling for that again. it's just a sad day. at least i only wasted 5 bucks on a rental.

I have played 2 games so far and I don't think the V&P is bad at all. It ends up making this game that much more of a challenge. It gives the Madden gameplay that much needed change. But,

WTF happened to the PRESENTATION? Not enough replays. Not enough stat overlays during the gameplay. EA had a whole year to add to this and they didn't do jack in this department. I want to laugh at those that have battled with me that this game has improved presentation. I still feel like I am playing Madden 2005 with just the addition of the Truck Stick, V&P, and Roster Upgrade.
