I agree. I use the Steelers and had a hard time at first with Bettis. Once I realized I was hitting it too late and got my timing down, it works great.

When you do execute it correctly, a message will appear in the bottom side of the screen saying "Truck Stick".

Truck stick works for me sometimes like it should (using Portis and Betts).

I havent really had any problem. I do notice, at least with baqrlow that I fumble more if I do it too soon.

I agree with you. Truck stick is high risk, high reward. I had a play with Steven Jackson when I met a CB near the sideline at the first down marker I trucked him and he crashed to the ground but the ball flew out Jackson's hand and went backward out of bounds and I had to punt.

The ball cover button is low risk, medium to high reward. It doesn't create as spectacular looking a play, but one, you rarely fumble when using it, two, it does allow you to break many tackles, three, it softens the blow when defenders try to hammer you, four, it doesn't fatigue you like the truck stick and five even smaller backs can be effective with it.

IMO, ball cover > truck stick

You just need time it better. I'm using Thomas Jones, on the Bears, who's just an average back, and I break tackles all the time with the stick. It's all about timing, and who you use it against. If you have Ray Lewis barreling down on you, then you're just an idiot to think you're gonna truck him over, so in that case, use the ball cover. However, if you have some panzy *** DB coming up to tackle you, truck his *** to the turf and clear yourself a path to the endzone! Strategy people, strategy!
