Has anyone turned off vision cone?

I still have mine turned on, but I can't see how that limitation would still apply seeing as you have no way of turning your head....

I play without it for now - may try it at some point - just am choosing not to for now.

It basically functions like the typical Madden/NCAA passing system without the cone - no hot/cold zones or anything like that. Haven't tried running one way and chucking it across the field or anything like that - I just don't play like that anyway - so I don't know if it's unrealistic or not.

I have mine turned off as I'm reacquainting myself to the game, but it plays like Madden 2005 so apart from the fact that I can't lead my receivers, it's not that limited - mind you, it makes for a less realistic experience though

The passing cone is stupid. Just another button to hit.....also more time for you to get killed by the blitz.

I don't jack up my AI blocking either.

Less buttons to hit...the more fun.

i like the cone's idea, but not how it's implemented, i use it for more of line of sight rather than awareness, so i lowered all the QBs awareness levels so it brings the cone down to a more realistic line of sight, i just didn't like brady,favre,manning etc.. being able to see the entire field at once,it wasn't that "realistic" to me.
