Is it possible to completely shut off the vision cone?

I have the QB vision turned off in the gameplay settings of my franchise, but the vision cone is still there in the gameplay drills and the CPU still uses it in the game.

How the heck do I completely shut it off for all facets of the game?

It will be a feature to be added next year. It will say, "Madden 2007, you can now completely turn off the cone vision".

why would you want to turn it off.. the game sucks without it.. unless you are an arcade player but dont worry arena football is coming out soon for you arcade guys..

learn how to pass man... learn football and stop letting the cpu do everything for you....

Some of y'all are out of line with your responses... I mean he didn't say anything bad about the feature just wanted to turn it off for th eCPU as well and during drills. It doesn't make him less sim or someone who wants arena football. I have been using check downs on video games for years. I use the feature but I don't see how it makes this game real football.

One more thing I can see how the extra button presses might turn some off to the feature because they aren't big on button smashing doesn't mean they are less of sim player.

Nope, from what I understand, you can NOT shut it off for the CPU.

I am not flaming or trying to be out of line but if you don't want to play with the vision cone you might as well not buy Madden 06 and just keep playing 05 so you save yourself some dinero.

...I don't know if they will really go to all that bother with upgrades next year....they will still be the only pro game on the market ya know. I'd say maybe just some different rap music.

I am definitely not an arcade guy. Truth is...I absolutely stink. It's hard enough for me to complete 50% of my passes without QB vision, I don't think I would complete 20% with it.

I just don't like it. It gives away the plays for the CPU too. I know right away if its a pass, rush or draw.
