New Idea for the Cone Passing System in Madden.....

I would like to see this implemented in future Madden games for the cone vision.

The problem with the feature this year is that it really doesn't take into account how a QB reacts under pressure. Sure the cone of some QB's are bigger, thus increasing the chances of getting the ball off. But the problem comes when taking in account pressure. It's the difference between a guys like Manning and Culpepper who are great passers but make mistakes when pressured and guys like Farve, Delhomme, and McNabb who excel under pressure.

NFL2K series solution was pretty simple. The composure rating went along way in determining how good a QB was under heat(and some argue that the rating is too overpowereing).

What Madden needs to do is implement this within the new passing system.

A QB's cone needs to get progressively smaller with pressure. A compossure rating of the quarterback should determine how fast the cone should shrink. That alone might go along way in simulating this.
