Let your center call out the blitz assignment

When you get to the line of scrimmage, do not snap the ball until you see the center call out blitz assignments (if time allows), blocking will be substantially better if you wait until that point. Otherwise blitzers may come through untouched.

try it out.

I find that using slide protection AND waiting for my center to point out the assignments is making my blitz protection more effective

Pretty interesting, I wouldn't have paid any attention to that. Does the center just point to different people?

Good point, also if you let the clock run down close to 2-3 sec run plays are more effective!

I'm glad someone finally pointed out that the Center does that before the ball is snapped because it's been one of the things that I always notice but forget to talk about.

This has been an ongoing debate for years. I've always thought this worked.

yes they do, but it doesn't happen until the playclock is inside of 5 seconds.... another note, it depends on your centers awareness,i noticed that centers with low awareness will not call it out as much as centers with a higher awareness, and if you wait until this happens, you will notice an increase in time to pass the ball, and your run blocking is much better...this feature was in past maddens as well, but not to many people noticed it......this little tidbit will alter lots of slider settings.

I always thought that when the C did that it gave you more time, never really paid much attention to it though.
