Why Madden 2006 is not as good as people hoped...

Personally I disagree, I thought 2005 was a lost year for all EA football games. I do like '06 however, for both NCAA and Madden....maybe I just needed a break from all things EA for a year.

Sorry. Your theory is invalid. There are two seperate teams over at Tiburon. The people who worked on this year's Madden are NOT working on the NextGen Madden. This, according to the interview we did with Madden 06 Producer Phil Frazier on the radio this week.

I agree with this poster. I think this is a veryu good football game andit can be even better if you put effort into makingh the gameplay better.

I wasn't even going to buy the game. But now I think my decision was well worth the $35.99 I spent on release day. I would have spent $50 but I found a great deal.....

I'm a hardcore 2k fan who is having loads of fun with Madden 2006. I love V&P!!!
It did take me about 4 days to get used to the controls and I haven't been able to stop playing yet. My wife is pissed.

Have a great time stuck with the current gen systems for another year and half then because ps3 is looking like it wont make it to the states til 2007. Besides, x360's gpu/graphics chip looks to be better then what sony is putting in its ps3 which is basically a 7800 pc graphics card slapped in the ps3 with a bit of added bells/whistles. The graphics chip in x360 is beyond that..infact its about as powerful as ati's R600 series which wont be out til late next year lol...
