I understand what you are trying to say, you want the big game feel.
I would like to see a large supply of flashbulbs while you are kicking off, the sidelines crowded to the brim with photographers, maybe they could slip in some footage from previous halftime show of superbowl past. like clint black at superbowl 28. they could have a studio show talking about the game.
at the end of the game have the grafitty falling onto the field they could do a screen shot of the comish handing the Vince Lombardi Trophy to the winning coach on a platform at the 50 yard line with the players looking up with video cameras. that would be real cool. then it will be in the Game!!!!

I think one of the biggest things hindering the playoff/Super Bowl atmosphere in these games is the commentary. I feel that the commentary can really help you feel like you're in a playoff game far better than some playoff logo on the field, or some cutscene before the game. There needs to be a bunch of dialogue recorded specifically for the playoffs and Super Bowl and you would only hear it during these games. I'm not saying that 100% of what you hear should be new, but littered throughout these games the commentators need to point out the fact that it's the freakin' playoffs and that these games are do or die. They need to show certain player's playoff stats and the crowd noise needs to be louder and more involved.
