I think the "jinx" refers to season ending injuries.

Seriously though, I read an article in ESPN the mag that NFL players have a 45% chance to be injured during the season and a 25% chance to be injured for the season. Those numbers are pretty high when you break em down, and if you think about it, if you are a starter on O or D you have an even higher chance since you are in the game more plays instead of the overall broad %.

Nah its bad seasons also... Like in the case of Eddie george I think... Or was that Culpepper??

Nah, QB's are at the biggest risk of being injured. Considering QB's were on the cover in 2002, 2004 and 2006, I'm not surprised if they got hurt. I could list all of the QB's that are hurt this year alone, but I don't feel like looking it up. Off the top of my head, I can think of Grossman, Griese, Culpepper, Garcia, Roethlisberger, Alex Smith, and Ken Dorsey.

this curse goes beyond madden...it has hit the fight night series....right after roy jones was on the cover he got ko'd, and b-hop was on the cover the last time, and he has lost his titles...coincidence i say, no(dun-dun-dunnnnnn)

Right..the curse isn't just some quick injury that happens for the current year. Seasons are destrpyed. Franchises are rendered crippled. The Madden curse runs through the depths of a team, poisoning all that was to be good. It's a category 7: The end of the world.
