Well, quite honestly I don't feel I am punishing myself. I firmly believe that nfl 2k5 is better than madded 05-06 so I still play that. Actually, I have rewarded myself because I paid 20.00 for a superior game while madden fans have paid $100 for 2 inferior games( in my opinion of course). It is only a punishment if you desire something and can't have it, I don't desire ea's brand of football when compared to VC/TT, to each is own.

Real punishing is buying a game, not liking it, therefore, not playing it. I don't think that people are not buying a game just to make a point. I didn't buy Madden because I don't like it enough to pay for it.

Oh dont get me wrong. I own Madden O N L Y because there is no 2k6. I still play 2k5 too but after a while.. I know im gonna get tired of 2k5 too.

These are videogames, the same games we have been playing since we were young, before the days of us changing sliders and just playing the game out the box and loving it for what it was. Now some of us have grown up and have become bored with life, and sick of the same porn sites so we find a new hobby which is game bashing which turns us into "fanboys". I am not talking about the same fan boys that flew in to the ring at the Hollyfield fight either! Madden is classic, regardless of what you want to say it's classic like a fresh pair of vintage J's...you smell it don't you. Madden has not changed much over the years and the major changes were actually done in the early years, as of late we kind of had little tweaks here and there but nothing major, but it still plays the same game of solid football that we have loved since childhood.
Oh but wait now Madden is alone just like the old days again only we have became older and wiser (?) and we are not happy with that, how can we log on to OS and create a war between two sides then have one idiot at home with a fudgesicle in his hand say "I guess I won't be getting Madden this year because it has only got 8,231 views while the "other" game has 8,233 views, oh and mom I have a pimple on my ear again can you pop it for me?"
Everyone has gone mad in the head over this and guess what folkies in two weeks , yes already 2 weeks we will have 2 basketball games out by week 3 of the NFL season!!. All the time you spent cring and going deep in you pile of games just to say "I think Joe Montana Sports Talk Football is better than Madden and I'll tell you why....." video game football season is over and now let's start the basketball wars
Think of your options like this......If you play with your penis and lost it you probally would start playing with your a$$.
This has been a little of my time thanks for reading along,, and by the way I did like the "other" game alot, alot alot, but it's gone and we adapt, some of us do.
