hey guys, im having trouble defending the passes to the running back in the flats. how can i stop this using a 3-4 or 4-3 defense. i mean, everything. it seems like there is either a halfback or fullback wide open. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

cover 2, cover 3, 4-3 man flats.

Hot route your OLB's in the 4-3 to play the flats, or just assign one of the OLB's man coverage on the running back.
