Anyone else tired of these stupid close up videos EA is giving us?

I mean, they're gameplay, but they're not gameplay. They aren't even showing us videos of actual gameplay of how it is when we are playing the game. They released a few and people were just disgusted with them, and they haven't released any since. It seems like EA is just teasing us with these little 10 second close up videos. I mean, I wanna know what the damn game looks like.

LOL. I think we all know that the actual gameplay is going to be much less detailed than the pictures and videos we've seen. It's common marketing to show off the best the game has to offer while ignoring the actual gameplay. I've always found it amusing that I could never find the same camera angles and animations shown in the commercials of any sports game.

Of all the ea games so far ive seen for 360, FIFA looks to be the only one ready to roll out. From what ive seen of madden, it needs awhile to get done. It will be another ea rush job to make money from the masses.

Are you insinuating that EA has actually added animations for marketing purposes ..but then removes them for the final product?

no he is just stating how COMPANIES show their best rep. of the game and the best animations possible, no one ever stated that they add/or remove animations b/c i know after watching some vids of games and then when you play them, you notice and see parts of the game that was in the commercial

How many EA commercials have you seen the focus strictly on gameplay? Those commercials are prescripted animations when they move into close-ups and higher resolution images (ie. the touchdown runs and completed passes of this year's commercials).

well thats why they are a TEASE, i know its hard to say wait for the game but in reality thats what we all have to do. But i understand were you are coming from, but then again ask yourself this, "AM i buying the game or not?" b/c most (from what i have read) are getting the 360 for this solely purpose, i know i am plus other games but madden is what im getting, so therefore if not just wait for a review on the 23 or 22 of nov. b/c thats when most will be playing. Well best of luck to ya on what you decide to do.

Well, they're putting us in a position where we are all going to buy the game because of curiosity. We really can't make a choice on if we're going to buy the game based on how good their game is, but based on how much we want to play football, with the way they're advertising their game.
