What are your auto-subs set at?

I'm still practicing and getting used to the game before I start my franchise. I think it's cool that they've set up auto sub frequency by position now. Can anyone recommend settings for auto-subs by position?

Re: What are your auto-subs set at?

QB 60/80
RB 85/90 - wanted good rotation here
other offense at 75/80

defense is still at default setting.

I use the steelers so I wanted a good rotation in my RB's.

Note: I'm new to Madden and not a seasoned player

^^oh man I figured out about those sliders yesterday and have them like the poster above and its as realistic as you want it to be. Especially around goaline. Plus thats if you have two good backs like denver or dolphins Idk it really depends on the team.

I'm at work, so I can't look it up or confirm it.... but I remember it in the settings area - the same place that you can change offensive and defensive audibles.

Re: What are your auto-subs set at?

Yeah I can confirm this for Madden 06 for 360. They are under My Madden - Strategy - AutoSubs.. you change the in and out frequency for each offensive and defensive position.

Now if someone can explain how exactly these work that'd be great. Like what should it be set at if I want my starting RB to pretty much stay in the whole game without subbing. (not realistic but maybe this could fix the franchise stats?... not a game breaker for me but maybe for others) Anyway, would I lower the sub-out and the sub-in or what exactly?

Re: What are your auto-subs set at?

set sub-out low to like 0 or something. That will say never take a guy out. From what I can tell, the higher the sub out, the more often a player goes to the bench to rest, with the next player coming in. The sub in is how often a better player will replace a player on the field.

Scenarios:
Sub-Out: starter gets tired and lets the 2nd string guy come in.
Sub-In: second string guy is in and still has plenty of energy, but the starter is rested and ready to come back in.
