2005 or 2006?

I have a situation:

I have Madden 2006 for the 360 which I am not enjoying much. The lack of features and the IMO not that great of animations really hurts the experience for me.

I can do a couple things...

I can trade Madden 2006 in for the XBOX version of 2006. I have rented the XBOX version this year and all in all I found it pretty fun, I could see myself playing a dynasty with that.

Or... I could flat out sell 2006 and just play Madden 2005 for PS2 which I have had (have played very little) collecting dust the last year. I can find very little difference on the features list between 2005 and 2006 and im not sure it's really worth a trade in if I already have 2005.

A couple things im interested in..

1. Are the simmed stats about the same as 2006 (not good) in 2005 or are they worse or better?

2. Any other major gameplay or feature differences between the two that should get my attention?

Thanks... and this would mainly be for a couple seasons worth of franchise games.
