Defensive Strategy: How do you stop star receivers?

....Like Terrell Owens. I use all types of zones, man coverages, and a combination of both. I still can't stop him. IF I double him, not only does it makes it easier for other receivers to be open, but T.O. still catches the ball over everyone.

What type of D-Formation is best to play against star receivers?

Are zones or man coverages, best?

My buddy previously used the colts prior to beating me 15 in a row, with T.O., Marvin Harrison is rated a little better than T.O. (I am not 100% sure, but its close), I shut Marvin Harrison down.

How in the world is T.O. so much more dominant than Marvin Harrison?

Is it possible to dominante with Marvin Harrison, similar to what T.O. does?

If so, how? Are there certain play/routes that Marvin Harrison is better than T.O.?

Also, Please, List you favorite top 5 shutting-down pass defense?

Thanks in advance?

I used to run certain zones and take my OLB who is on that side and play the underneth and have my corner play man, and the saftey slide over the top. usualy worked pretty good. But it leaves holes for other players.

If your opponent mixes it up this won't really work but when he is only throwing to one dude I usually take control of the safety and get into a position in which I won't get burned. Then you have to really master knocking the ball down with L1. It can be really hard online sometimes though. Thats my opinion but I'm not that good so I would use the plays the guys sbove me used
