I agree with the posters in that thread, its a flat texture and they simply render a few strands of grass wherever the foot hits the ground....look beyond the goalpost...its flat everywhere else. The texture itself needs some work, it looks like they are playing on 3 inch long fescue fields vs neatly cut turf grass.

Also have to agree with the FIFA comment, why not use that grass...or is it not all that great in-game either?

ehh.. its alittle too long, out of place, and theres not enough in there. i guess thats why we see the black there.

my grass when i cut it, is all uniform in a straight up position. this looks alittle too random.

nice attempt though. maybe theyll perfect it by nextyear

Look good to me. Some dudes act like they want players in a cornfield,lol. NFL grass blades are barely visible, only on a field level camera.
