U can't assign a genre to a sport. Its how the game is marketed. Madden 00 was laced with hip-hop. As the years progress, i guess some folks felt that Madden was getting too urban and started putting more pop on it.

Just cuz u've never heard of these artists doesnt mean anything. EA sports is famous for helping unknown artists gain fame. There were so many great songs last year by Unknown artists, just remember Dance, Dance - Fall Out Boy, Ink - Finch, Streetcar - Funeral for a Friend, Bat Country - Avenged Sevenfold, and others.

I think that when u first turn the game on, the soundtrack should get u krunk to play game, regardless of the sport. When I heard Ludacris on 00, I wanted to get in the game.
