Is it just me? I could really care less to play as a lead O-Line blocker. I rather EA just give us the ability to have them block in a certain direction, but to actually take control of the lead blocker for the RB?

Maybe it's just me, but I find no joy in a pancake block, I rather run over the pancake than actually do it. I just feel there was so much more EA could have tightened up from the previous 360 version. I'm still looking forward to playing Madden but I have a funny feeling EA will dissapoint yet again.

Here's to hoping I'm wrong.

Can you imagine trying to play a whole game as on O-lineman? I shouldn't knock it since I haven't tried it...but I can't imagine ever wanting to try it. I wonder who comes up with some of these bright ideas in the first place.

I most interested in the new career mode with the player cam. I think that will be very cool.

It worries me that people think they'll be doing pancakes all game. It's very rare that that happens in the NFL. I sure hope this is balanced out correctly.

That's my point exactly

Couldn't they have concentrated on franchise mode? Custom/Expansion team mode? Animations? Camera Angles? Half time shows? And the always horrible Play-by-Play?

When I was a kid dreaming of playing for my home town Giants I wished I was Joe Morris, Phil Simms, Touchdown maker-Baker, LT, and Harry Carson. Not O'whats his name?

I can just see the cheesers moving their best run blocker over to LG and running the same running play over and over and over again, Tecmo Bowl style.

I may try it a couple times and probably never touch it again. I dunno it just seems like a lot to be switching offensive players during a play.
