Current gen video of Madden 07 (7-19-07)

I think this was posted on Gametrailers today; found by accident. Up to now I was pretty convinced the current gen version of Madden would play better than the next gen version. But after watching this vid, I can't tell if it's '06 or '07

Damn I had forgotten how much the goofy walking players do between plays irritates me. QB mechanics aren't great, but they're better than the next gen game. Tomlinson looks like he's juicing (as do many of the other players) and looks to have the "basic" running style of Madden years past. Still, the basic [Madden] gameplay looks sound. The improved footwork I thought I was seeing in the vids DJ posted didn't stand out as much to me here.

wow... i cant even watch that anymore... cant stand to look at the same graphics and jaggies... you cant compare next gen to current gen for a second... look at those play menues... they look like a genesis game.. next gen madden videos look much better

Where is the commentary? All the other game sounds seem to be there including the stadium announcer. Did theye drop it this year from current gen?
