The PS3 could be down graded because of horrible CELL yields and it might end up much weaker than the XBOX 360. Even if the PS3 is not down graded, the XBOX 360 GPU has much more memory bandwidth. So the PS3 has no advantage in graphics no matter how many FLOPS the CELL can process.

I wll say that that gameplay on PS2 always felt tighter than on XBOX for both Madden and NCAA. Forget the graphis because it wasn't that much of a huge difference.

But the controls and gameplay on the PS2 versions always just seemed to feel better.

FLOPS = FLoating point Operations Per Sec. i.e. how much floating point math it can churn out. Really not that important considering most 3D stuff uses interger math.

Low Cell yield = the fact that the manufacturing process for the PS3 Cell chip cannot produce an adequate amount of working chips.
