Its not a cop out. People love to complicate the issue but its very simple. If the game is missing a feature that you think is necessary, dont buy the game. NBA 2K6 was a good basketball game but it didnt have multiplayer franchise or season mode which is really important to me. Did I buy 2K6....No! I'm not going to give a game company my money for a game that is missing features that were in the game in previous versions and that I personally care about.

What kills me is that 95% of the people who bitch about the game in every thread are still going to buy the game. Also, dont give me that "its the only football game in town excuse". Last year I wasnt satisfied with either next gen basketball (my favorite sport) game because of the lack of features and I just decided to not have a next gen basketball game. You always have a choice.

As far as I am concerned, when they bought the NFL license, they took on a responsibilty to sports gamers to deliver a solid, feature filled football game. We still haven't gotten that. If they couldn't deliver it, then they should allow other companies to use that license and make a game that we all can enjoy. I don't care if it's 2K sports, Sony, or even Acclaim.

We now have to take whatever crap they throw at us and don't dare complain because the people that love the game will eat your soul.

Personally, I'm sick of the excuses for shoddy programming. Is that all you have?

Serious question, if you hate the 360 version soooo much, why did you join a 360 tournament at DSP?

Because Bill asked, that's why. I'll participate in anything he puts together. Some of the most fun I've ever had was in Bill's 2K5 league and I didn't care much for that game either. As a matter of fact, the only time I ever played 2K5 was in Bill's league...the rest of the time I was playing Madden 05.

Its not a cop out, its reality. I know we love to think that EA has 10,000 people working on programming Madden and NCAA but they dont. I'm sure they have a big team working on it but not as big as you seem to think. So the fact that NCAA is in year 1 and Madden is in Year 2 is a legitimate excuse for SOME of the missing features and glitches.

As for taking whatever crap they throw at us and complaining, you have been doing a bunch of that for the last month and no one has stopped you yet. But the fact that you complain so much and still give EA your money is truly pathetic. You cant go a year without a football game? You cant just buy the Xbox version that you love so much? Its also pathetic that your son has a more realistic and mature response to glitches found in video games.
