LOL. No offense, I just never heard of the game before. I was laughing at the name...I had a mental picture of a guy using a guitar to fight bad guys (rock them to death).

Re: MM's EXCLUSIVE Interview with Madden Producer Ian Cummings!

You know, I'm a VERY willing participant in the EA KoolAid drinking that's been going on for years now, but over all those years, I've become a bit cynical when it comes to interviews featuring EA people. Unfortunately, this is due to the blatant lying. First they tell us we can't get certain things because the technology has not caught up to the ideas. They then tell us we can't get it because of time. Now it's because we didn't ask nicely?!?

PUHHHLEEEEEZE! Just give it to me straight. WE DON'T MATTER! In the grand scheme of things, the hardcore guys don't matter. You will throw us a bone every now and then (V&P), and do it quite well...which only infuriates me even more. Because the talent to do what we're asking for IS there. The priority is not. And that's due to us not being as important as the guy that walks into EB, sees "Create-a-Fan" and thinks it's gonna make his game better. When really, it only serves to cover up the shallow experience beneath.

Again, it's probably not gonna be a bad game. In fact, it's more than likely gonna be quite good. But it's maddening (no pun intended) to see something like Vision & Precision done so well, and the same talent that created that getting stifled by having to put in time to include a shotgun sound when you throw the ball.

LOL! Hey, that game you described sounds pretty cool too!

Actually, if you have a PS2, I recommend you check out Guitar Hero. Look up some reviews on the game. I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel this November.

Umm, ok, back on subject . . .uh, Madden comes out next week or something. Cool.

Thanks, I will check it out some reviews. I do enjoy trying new games. Maybe it will be something new and fun; but football will always come first. Peace.

It's probably the most addicting game I've ever played. I've contemplated buying a PS2 just for the game.

Yeah, the day I looked on the back of the game box and saw "create-a-fan" listed as a notable feature, is the day I realised EA is like an outta control ho. We gotta slap that bitch and let her know who the pimp daddy is that keeps her in those nice leather dresses. Football is my passion though, so I'm a weak pimp
