I would say that you wait for the reviews and then maybe rent both. You don't want to be stuck with a game you don't like so I would just read reviews and then maybe try both yourself and then make the decision.

I have the 360, But I'm getting Madden on the Xbox for a number of reasons. One of them is for the Madden Challenge.

I don't know jack squat about the 360 franchise mode and haven't seen any impressions that there is much substance there. The 360 version is beautiful but I'm worried the franchise mode is bare bones. The xbox version appears to be very deep which has me wondering which one I'm going to buy. Decisions, decisions.
