player lock on this year's Madden?

Live07 is coming out in a few months and that will have a (true) player lock feature. i was wondering if this year's Madden has that option also 'cos if it does, then, i'll buy Madden instead of waiting for Live07.

to my knowledge the closest thing is Superstar mode where you play only your position, even fast forward to plays youre involved in. I think I heard that on D you can opt to switch to anybody, anyone know for sure?

you can't fast forward to plays that you aren't involved in, either you sit on the sidelines and watch the midgets run around or control them. EA had too much of a brainfart to think about that...
