I personally think that 07 is far superior graphically to 06. I actually really like the blurry, depth of field effect. The stadiums look better, as do the player models. The field textures and degredation - while maybe slightly overdone - looks alot better than the fields in 06. The lighting effects are also night and day better than last year's game.

There's a certain cutscene they show before you line up at the line, with a close-up of one of the defensive linemen's face and the LB behind him, and the helmet looks so realistic I always do a double take.

LOL. What makes you think the PS3 version is going to look any better? That game is going to get ported over and twinked with so it can run on a PS3 period. And WTF is "perfect" graphics anywyas?

Personally I think just like almost every other sane, non-blind, person in this thread, It looks better to me this year.

Ive noticed an influx of posts and comments that lean on the retarted side of things and they come from people with 22 , 23 posts on this site and its people you dont ever remember seeingon here before. Pattern????

I think the original poster thought that 07 looked bad was because he saw it on a 360 kiosk at Gamestop. I played it at a Gamestop too, and I agreed that it didn't look good, because it was set to 480p on a native 1360 x 768 display. In 720p/1080i it probably looks great . . . no debate there.

The gamestop guys said they have no control over it and only the Microsoft people who set it up have the power to increase the resolution.

If it was running in 480p is that why I was seeing a lot of jaggies??

I am getting it tomorrow and will play it in hd on my plasma to make sure. But, I am just saying that on Gamestop's kiosk it didn't look as good as last year's.
