40 Reps? Damn, my highest is 7 with a created superstar? Whats the trick?

Re: Staying in the Zone --- 40 Yard Dash

Anyone saying they ran below a 4.1 in the 40 is blatantly lying. The gameplay documents that a member of Tiburon's dev team released to MaddenMania a few weeks back mentioned that the fastest speed the engine allows is a 4.10.
So to the guy who has no idea what to do with a woman (fast fingers? it's not a typerwriter, it's a p*ssy), go find some other number to exxagerate...like how your 4" are actually 7"

I too sucked at first but have been able to do 35 reps with a created QB.

The main thing is toget into a rhythm. Start pressing back up when you are just above the blue zone. Also hit the triggers repeately as you come down. It takes practice, but you can get proficient at it.

Think of it as a cadence. up, ltrigger, rtrigger, ltrigger, up....believe it or not the sound the triggers make helps me stay in my rhythm to push up at the right time.

As I said I can consistently do between 25 and 30, but if I get thrown off, I can only do 12 or 15.

For what it's worth, from my experience, when you manage to get in the "zone" in the 40, you need to move the sticks even faster to stay there. If not, you get out of it immediately.

It is hard.
