I can only speak for myself, but why always try and belittle someone because they have an opinion/thought/advice that may help someone out. If you have a problem with someone's post, just ignore it. What may be ignorant/offensive to you, may/may not help someone else out. To refer to one poster, What difference does it make if someone has the time or not to try things out? Is that a bad thing? Better yet, don't even respond.

PR guys spin, it's what they do. So the EA guy chose his words carefully to say something that wasn't completely a lie, but implied something that sounded better than the truth. At least they're going to fix it.

The EA guy lied through his teeth. There is no spin on that. Waiting for a patch is fine, but they shouldn't be blatantly lying to their customers because they didn't test the game.
