Anyone finding that the wear is random, not a result of where the action is happening?

I'm actually finding the opposite to be true, in large part thanks to Training Camp in SS Mode. In Training Camp, the play starts from the same spot every time, and that part of the field gets absolutely ruined.

Although I do like the degradation, it is over done. Hey at least it's there. It's a start.

I noticed the same thing. That was how I recognized the location specific degradation works.

Exactly, it's programmed well, just overdone. I wouldn't be upset at all if it stayed the same next year, but if they did tone it down, it'd obviously be more realistic.

Yes, from game one I found it to be overdone as well. And from what I have seen, the part of the field that gets more play gets worn down faster, which is a nice touch.

Nice! I haven't played anything but Play Now. But it seemed the the field would wear the same despite me winning or losing the field position battle quite convincingly.
