Field Degradation is too much

I like the way Madden use too degrade the field with light brown grass in the middle of the field.

I think it is about perfect without rain. When it rains it just looks awful at some angles. The lighting affects are a little off. It is nice they tried to be realistic but it makes it look like a missle hit the field. Haven't seen rain. I would hope on cold day it wouldn't get ripped up as much as it does because of frost on the field,ect. If they could make LAmbeau filed look like it has frost on the field it would look cool as hell.

My first thought, since I only just got the game and have just ran a real 8 hours of practice indoors, does the ripped up field affect players footing, ability to cut etc.?, or is it just for show effect?

I can't speak for other fields, but Heinz Field is a mess even if it doesn't rain during the game.

Its like that for any grass field. Try San Diego, it gets this crazy clay red dirt.

I was speaking in real life. The field is a mess after a game no matter what.
