Remember this for next year and do not pre-order and do not rush out and get the game on release day. I preordered, and I will never do it again. I went to the store to pick up my copy and they had tons of copies on the shelf for anyone to buy. There is no need to preorder.

I bought it because they said there would be a patch out around the time the game dropped. THEY said that. It was obviosly just a fire stopper from above, because i dont think they ever had any intention of getting it out that soon.

If THEY never said they would have a patch, I would not have bought it so soon. Maybe I would have at some point, but not right away.
Im not one to get pissed about buisness, but what EA did was just plain wrong.

If there was another football option, i wouldnt buy Madden ever again

Ortiz's(Madden lead developer I believe) explaination was that fatigue is working, it's just that the indicator is not. Several people have posted vids showing that the indicators work just fine, that it just take way too much to tire players.

Now folks are speculating. What Ortiz said was broken is not. So what will EA actually fix? The indicators that are not broken, or the rate at which players fatigue(which appears to be the real problem)?

I lost respect for Ortiz when he started referring to Madden players as sexy. He's a hype machine.

Fatigue is broken, Ortiz. Fix it for crying out loud.

I just want to know what is going on so I can start my franchise. If no patch is coming, or if it is going to take forever, I will just start a franchise as is.

Of course, I keep putting it off because I don't want to start then have the patch come out the next day.

In all this time, I could have finished a franchise by now anyway...

It is just irritating.

This is what happens when there is NO competition. I know i'm stating the obvious, but gamers would have been much better off if ESPN would have stayed on it's own and pushed EA to advance it's product.
