PS2 Controller for Xbox

Ive been recently thinking about buying a converter for my ps2 controller to play on my xbox, the question is does anybody do this, and do the letters in game change to the circle, triangle, etc.? I dont think they do, but I want a confirmation.

Also if anybody does this, does it work well enough were the ps2 people can play without complaining about controller issues?

yeah, i've purchased 2 different ones in the past .. one made by nyco or sumin and the other one i forget who makes it but it also works on gamecube... and yes the symbols you see on the screen dont match but you get used to it the only thing is most games tend to use the right trigger in the place that the r1 is on ps2 and same with the left.
