Sucks for you, actually.. unrealistic football with screwed up siming, franchise, signing the dead, & broken fatigue, can't be all that fun can it? Unless you aren't a sim guy..

Games stop being "sim" the second a human picks up a controller.

Ditto that's how I've always played the game. It works out hundreds times better than letting the CPU run their own show.

If EA would have allowed me to set each teams specific personell packages I would have done that aswell. I did it every year on the PS2 version but they for some odd reason took it out of the 360 version. I guess they must have forgot some teams do split certain TE's out wide and some teams do have designated pass rushers off the bench at DT and DE.

YOu would think for $60 bucks EA would give us all the Options they give to current gen owners....

I play the game. I enjoy playing the game. I don't care about simulated stats. There is a workaround for "signing the dead". Fatigue will be fixed. I paid for the game and they're working to fix it. I love NFL Football and i'm not about to take a loss on it by trading it in. Yes I am a sim guy, I expect the actual game to play like a sim. Again, some of the things yall bitch about, simulated stats, progression, etc., I couldn't care less about. I complained about the Falcons carrying 3 kickers. I had finished one game in the preseason. Simple fix? Start over, control all 32 teams so that doesn't happen. Sim the first preseason game, fixed. Good luck playing a 2 year old NFL 2K5.

Its pretty impossible to have a "realistic" franchise on the 360 version. No Fatigue, players changing age if you train them, NO way to edit players so that they are accurate, and noway to create the TONS of missing players EA left out (accurately at least). Im glad i bought the current gen version as well....something told me i better do that.

Good for you. Having played it, no way I go back to current gen. But to each their own.

You can't go back.

I picked up the PS2 version on the release day. Two days ago I picked up the 360 version, and I'm loving it. I play sports games for the franchise mode, but I can ignore all the negatives because the game plays great, much better than the current gen. There's no way in hell I'm going back.

Re: Franchise Craziness...Sigh

the problem is... why they wonīt sign everybody they can if the cap allow it ?

EA need to start doing something about it... not all teams are allowed to spend the whole cap on their roster... some teams are way below cap... and because the owen donīt allow them to spend the whole money on roster signing they donīt.

EA need to add some "owners expectatatins"

-reach playoff on 2 years
-donīt spend more than 60Mill on rister signing
-etc etc
