What is Up With This Weird Equipment (360)?

This may seem like a minor deal to some...but to me it's just so weird because it's very prevalent in the game, and it doesn't have to be.

This has to do with the helmets/facemasks on linebackers and D-lineman. It seems like all the linebackers have this uncommon facemask for some unknown reason on the 360. Here's an example.

You can see two extra bars on his facemask. Minor, yes, but just weird, because all you have to do is watch gametape or look at pics of players to get their facemasks correct. And the thing is, this is the situation with MOST of the linebackers and some DL I've seen. All my Browns linebackers have this facemask.

Again, I just find it weird and unecessary since that type of helmet/facemask is so uncommon in the NFL in general.

I never would have noticed the extra bar, but I'm that way with helmets so...

Really? Haha...yeah, it's actually two extra bars on the helmet. And I tink it therefore makes the helmet/facemask larger than normal.

Again, not a game killer or anything...I just found it tremendously odd considering it seems like it'd be an easy thing to get right.
