I don't have Madden 07 (current gen), but in Madden 01-06 the Steelers never got any alternates at all. Playing with a 70's Pitts. team, and seeing Bradshaw wearing those weird art deco numbers they currently use never seemed quite right.

300 for 2 stadiums? I thought that was a typo at first. I thought there was team jerseys included in that, but oh well, total ripoff.

That's what bothers me, the Steelers DO have throwbacks. It's just for some reason Madden doesn't include them.
They have the obvious block number unis with grey facemasks (before the black cages) they also have throwback unis with all black helmets (no decal)
I also remember them wearing white pants with the thick black stripe (before the gold pants).
Nfl2k did a good job with the Steeler throwback unis,I remember in that game they also had a yellow Pitt helmet (everything the same only yellow).
To sum it up....Pitt DEFINATELY (sp) has throwback unis, whether or not EA decides to implement them is a different story.
I do know this though.....I hope they put Three Rivers up on the marketplace,I would love to play a game on the old turf

You guys keep referring to this downloadable content stuff like it's a bad thing. Yeah, it may suck that we have to pay for it, but Jesus Christ, these companies exist to make MONEY!

BTW - They aren't the only company utilizing the Marketplace. Nobody is getting all pissy with the folks who brought us Pac-Man on the Marketplace, which we had to pay for. Hell, I can play Pac-Man for free online from a NUMBER of websites. Where's the outcry there?

Some of you guys would last 2 days as a CEO of one of these companies, the way you think. Why the hell SHOULDN'T EA charge for this stuff? People will pay for it! It's easy money!

Well chalk me up as one that wants to spend my money wisely. I have every right to complain about the menial dlownloadable content EA is offering us. Key word: MENIAL

Plus the fact that they lie about it or wave around the truth on many occasions just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Every company wants to make money, thats a big duh but nobody likes a greedy corporation. And their are way to many of them around nowadays. There is a way to be greedy and still keep some form of respect from consumers but EA is going overboard. Their products are consistently mediocore and they strive at monopolizing the entire gaming industry. How anyone can respect that is beyond me.

Simple as that.

LOL. If you call buying out competition and charging for features that use to be free.."new ideas" and "adaptive", then we must be talking about a diffrent company.

Well the thread was back on topic.. Oh well................

Anyway.........I know noone will know the answer for sure unless you work for EA but I'm hoping that they will allow us to use the downloadable alt. uniforms for Madden '08 or just include them in the game. I can totally understand paying for the stadiums. (especially with the detail in them) . I mean just browse the market place and check out some of the other BS stuff that is charged for. Anyone not taking advantage of that would be crazy.
The uniforms I hope they release more then just one alternate per team. I'm a Dolphins fan and I'd love to see the orange jerseys and the teal on teal but the all white is an absolute must since they are the actual home uniforms that the phins wear.

Any other retro stadiums that you guys are hoping to see?? I'm just curious i mean theres an obvious few that come to mind but i hope at the least they get creative if we're going to be paying for them.

I'd probably shell out the cash for the Astrodome, Three Rivers and RFK.
