More fumbles after patch?

My running style hasn't changed, the fumbles resulting from it have. I'll pay more attention to the cover button, but with Westbrook, it's not as if I can cover up and plow through the pile ....

I always use the cover button, and I'm still fumbling too often with Brandon Jacobs and Tiki. Tiki has 4 fumbles in 3 games, and my last fumble cost me the game. In an online game a while ago, Jacobs fumbled 3 times in goal line situations. I'm afraid to touch the highlight stick now when approaching a defender. Does anyone know if holding speedbost while also holding cover ball nullifies the cover ball action?
