Madden 360 Offline multi-player play-calling

Me and my friend are new to next-gen Madden. We recently got Madden 07 for the 360 and while we were playing against each other, the playcalling screen allows him to see which play I was going to pick, and vice versa. This topic has probably been discussed in the past, but we would like to know as to how to hide our play selection. The menu is thinner than a Chinese food take-out menu. Thanks in advance.

Pick the play that you want to use with the X button and then you will hear a click sound. Now you will still get to choose another play with the A button.
So it looks like your picking the A play but really you picked the first play with the X button. Its called Bluffing.
