Should EA scrap the 2 team developement?PS3team/xbox360 team

I believe they should. I can see if Madden PS3 was drastically different than XBOX 360 verison but its not. Besides gang tackles the game is basically the same. If EA has 2 differenet teams and only produce 2 man gang tackles then 2 me thats not saying much.

EA should just focus on 1 platform and port it to the other system. EA is wasting time trying to figure out the power of each sytem while not expanding.

That 2 supposed "2 team development" was just marketing really IMO. How the hell can you not improve certain things such as "More gameplay modes,Co-op play online, Different online features"? Come on...lol

I think this is a good question. I for one don't believe these two sets of developers are seperate and that the games are indeed already a port.

There's no way two sets of developers would come up with something so similiar. I suppose they have a template that is used for each system and then work from that?

Either way, I do not believe that the PS3 and 360 versions were made by two different developers. They are way too close in appearance and mechanics.

I am in complete agreement.

To have us believe that all the same problems persist on all platforms and they dont have the same dev people for all the systems is nutz.

However, with that said.....Madden continues to break sales records and as such has no reason at all to change their formula yet.

Could Madden be 10x better? yes
Could it be the greatest football game of all time? yes
Could the devs put in more effort? yes
Could the consumer stop buying it because it sucks? yes

Do the consumers buy it even though it sucks? yes

EA / Madden team = no reason to change anything

I don't think they have two, unless the PS3 is THAT much different that it requires an entire team to just port it... because honestly, that's all they did besides some very minor differences.

I know between the 2 systems, they look and play identical if not the 360 edging out the PS3 by a hair. Which system has the potential to be 10x better? The PS3 has the cell processor(which in theory should be pretty cool) and is difficult to program for, but it also has the Blu-Ray advantage(50Gigs). With the 360 limited to standard DVD(9Gigs I believe) but much easier to work with and more memory than the PS3. which one SHOULD be better?
