Issue with roster minimums

As I approach the first offseason in my franchise, I woudl like to address some of the game's shortcomings.

Mainly, the lack of FB's in the league. Had I realized this was such a pain before I started my franchise, I would have created several FB's and put them into free agency.

As it stands, if a team with one fullback loses him to injury past the trading deadline, you are at an impasse. The few free agent FB's are snatched up in the first few weeks of training camp.

I am hoping to rent NCAA and prepare a draft class.....

Is there any reason I can't edit several prospects to insure enough FB's in the free agent pool ? (I don;t care if they are good, just that they are available).

Also, in looking at the generated draft class, I see that there are x number of players available to draft. DO the undrafted players go into the FA pool, or are there an exact number of players to correspond to the number of draft picks?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

what system are you playing on? If it is ps2 just edit abunch of the bad running backs into fullbacks. If ps3 you are screwed because you cant edit players.(i cant figure out how to anyway)

No there are undrafted players that go into the free agent pool.

I'm on the360...so the editing isn't an option.
