He doesn't have the fastest 40 time, but the issue here is football speed vs 40 time. They are saying his football speed merits a 100 rating. But alas, this news was posted yesterday.

If he deserves it, then so does Dante Hall. He had a fantastic season a couple years back.

this is BS, if moss didnt get it a while back no one should. If Devin Hester gets the "PERFECT" (which 100 represents) then what about the people better? this is the start of a bad thing, nobody should be getting 100s in madden

If anybody should've gotten a speed rating of 100 it should've been Darrell Green and Deion Sanders. I say this because they were outstanding returners as well as a shut down corners. Being that Hester was rarely used defensively, I hope his defensive awareness is VERY low. If it isn't, I can see people abusing the game by starting him at corner and letting the computer do all the work. IMO, Madden '08 isn't starting out well. It sounds like EA is cooking up another gimmick.

So because of a past mistake(s) they should commit a future one? And as for Hall, he should have had 100 agility and those sort of ratings, not necessarily speed of 100.
