New Attribute: QB's ability to sell the run fake

I don't know if this has been mentioned before. I think '08 should incorporate the QB's ability to sell the playaction. With Oscar-worthy QB like Chad Pennington, the camera should zoom in during the fake handoff like it has been for the past 3 yrs of Madden. But with lazy playaction QB like (maybe) Eli Manning, the camera would zoom in only halfway, and quickly zoom right back out for the pass.

That's a cool idea, but lets take it a little further.

What kind of practice drills could you do to improve an attribute like that in a season or franchise for the qb's that aren't as gifted?

To make it fair, the zoom effect should be determined by the defensive play call. If you call a playaction pass and I call a defensive play to stop the "pass", there should be little to no zoom at all (based on teams overall defensive awareness) because I made a good read. On the other hand, if I stack 8 in the box, expecting a run, and you call that same play, I should be faked out of my cleats.

Yes, that should be part of the equation of how much camera zoom should there be, along with the predetermined attribute (based on the real life QB) for the QB's acting skills.

What baffles me is that in real life, how some QB's are so good at selling the run while others aren't. Is it a matter of effort? Those who aren't good at it, are they afraid to get drilled by a blitzer if the process takes a little too long?

I hope there's no zoom effect. I don't like the user being forced to fall for the fake. Let the animations take care of it.
