4 man gang tackling=good but not game killer

Why are people really bugging out about the four man gang tackle animation? So what if all 4 players don't engage the ball carrier, they make an impact. The point of gang tackling is to provide additional support to help take down a ball carrier. Well, the 4 men provide adequete enough support to stop the ball so this is actually a 4 men gang tackle in a way. Give EA credit, not only did they give gang tackling, but they also attempted to up the ante.

I STRONGLY doubt anyone posted "I will not be getting this game due to no four man gang tackles". So this thread is pointless. There are no four man gang tackles that I've seen, just defenders getting to the ball carrier and getting trucked while two other defenders make the tackle. Therefore in the blog he shouldn't have suggested that what we were seeing was a four man gang tackle. I mean I don't doubt that it makes the final build, but from the blog there were no four man gang tackles.

Technically, it was a "4 man gang tackle" kinda - 3 defenders, 1 ball carrier = 4 man. The 1st defender was barged over and two came in to clean it up right away. Not the best 4 man I would hope but there were 4 players involved.

There hasn't been a "4-man tackle" shown. The video showed a two man tackle with a third guy running past the play and the fourth falling down. A four-man tackle is not having four guys just be around the ball carrier, they have to actually be tackling the person for that to qualify as a tackle.

The fact the are not counting half sacks and half tackles says alot about thier approach to gang tackling. It seems like a cosmetic band aid but I will hold off on judgement till I play it.
