Yeah that is cool, but by the time you add pads and a helmet they will be about the same speed.

for yall information...the one at top is NOT 60fps...i dont know if u were being literal with those examples but 60fps is actually much smoother than that in real life.

If u wanna see the difference...just play nba 2k7 and then play nba live 07 and 06....

Re: The diferrence between 60 FPS and 24 FPS

The whole GIF animation there has 65 frames. The top one actually seems closer to 30 FPS to me and the bottom 15 FPS as I think the whole animation is closer to 2 seconds in time than 1 second, but I guess it depends on how fast a second is

So yeah, 65 frames in roughly 2 seconds is more like 30FPS. Also, there is one MAJOR flaw with this comparison, and that is the bottom animation has unnecessary "pause" frames, i.e., frames were the ball isn't moving at all. This is because you saved the file as one animation and not two, and one GIF animation can't have competing frame rates for different areas, so the bottom is actually the exact same frame rate but it has to let the top move while it stops to "simulate" a lower frame rate, which is unrealistic - you need to do two separate GIF files. One where the ball moves 60 times in a second, and one where the ball moves 30 times in a second. That is a fair comparison.

So basically, this GIF is nonsense.

60 fps in NBA2K7 will be smoother than any football game at 60 fps. Reasons are obvious.

Actually yes it does, well depending on which system, PS3 only 30 FPS, 360 60 FPS

Re: The diferrence between 60 FPS and 24 FPS

you want a good 60 vs 30 comparison... play nba 2k6/7 then play nba live 06/7

thing is... 30 fps isn't BAD for certain types of games... GoW ran at 30, GRAW1 & 2 ran at 30... it's just when you touch that 60 fps a la Forza you realize how smooth gameplay can really get... hopefully the 60 fps won't come with a sacrafice to graphics and i'm PRAYING 30 fps is still more than playable
