I'll bite.

Given the EA video blogs I thought the game would be a bigger departure from last year. Perhaps it confirms that runners will have different styles (Tomlinson in the blogs seemed to run differently but I'm probably mistaken) but Reggie Bush looked weird running with those same jump-on-your back tackles (or defenders just getting shoved to the ground while the ball carrier continues). Weird, some video looks good like the Cowboys vid from awhile back and the blog videos, then others look really meh imo like this video, some of the Packers/Chiefs footage, etc.

I agree. Some vids look amazing while some (like this one) just look like 07 to me. Maybe its was just the quality of video or something.

It's just a personal peeve of mine, but I've always hated the way defenders in EA's game always line up single line-style when chasing a runner all the way down the field. They've done that since I've been playing Madden from 1992 or so, and it just looks stupid to me.

I'm still not sure how they managed to convince a bunch of people that this was a brand new engine built from the ground up. Three years into next gen, it still looks like a lot of the same old engine to me, but spit shined and running at 60 fps.

WOW that was bad, they still look very stiff and those tackles looked really lame. Man i want this game to be good what gives?

Gotta agree though the Cowboys vs Chargers vid was by far the best so far
