I didn't think '07 was bad, I just thought it was missing too many of the little things. I think EA is trying though, and even in my frustrations with '07 I conceded that it was clear they were trying. I'm not interested in seeing more icons and attribute ratings, or more modes that 90% of us won't ever use. I just need things like the ability to edit body builds of all players, increased atmosphere, increased presentation, a real play-by-play booth, and a decent Super Bowl ending. I don't wanna see the CPU turn it over constantly, I don't wanna see myself or the CPU get sacked when the ball was clearly thrown in time.

Hopefully '08 will get me closer to this.

This all sounds great, but when known bugs from last year are still present in this year's version, that makes me doubt their ability to deliver.

Next year has to have blown out ESPN Presentation. No excuses.

I want to have the announcers, graphic overlays, sideline reporter with info, halftime shows with in-game highlights, weekly wrap up shows with highlights from other games, features around the league, etc...

You should be able to tell the difference between a playoff game and a game in Week 2.

I hope all the things you mentioned above is put in the game next year, except I don't know how viable #1 is.

I used to have the ear of one of the lead developers of HH baseball and every year the same question came up from PC users. Can we edit body builds or facial stuff? The pat answer was always no because MLB rules prohibited it.

It could be the same for the NFL, I don't know.

Not at all, if I'm right, that's an NFL rule, not a blatant omission by EA.
