Here's the *FIX* - Edit Player = Huge Arms

I haven't any topics about this issue yet, don't know if its only on 360 or ps3 also but i encountered it in 360 and thought that I was doomed and couldnt edit a player at all with out making there biceps blow up. I figured it out though and its pretty easy on how to work around this. It is hard/confusing to explain so I'm better off going to use the example, also the best accessories to use with this method are the ones that come in 2's, ex. wristbands, gloves, etc... or if theres something that the player isn't wearing in real life, you can take that off butok here it is:

*EXAMPLE*

Goal is to Change Randy Moss's number from #6 to #81.

- Go into edit player, change his number, and exit. Now go back into edit player mode, notice Randy Moss's skinny arms blew up. This is due to the fact you change some sort of thing on the player, in this case, his number.

- Now that you are in edit player mode for the 2nd time, go to accessories, and what I did is remove his sleeves. Exit again

- Enter edit player for the 3rd time, and now you have a #81 randy moss with his normal sized arms.

Basically it goes in a pattern, every other time you edit a player there arms go back down to normal size.

Here's another:

Goal is to remove wrist bands from Daunte Culpepper, along with changing number to 8.

- Go into edit player, change his number to 8 (this is assuming you have 1. signed him to the raiders, and 2. already have made the changes to travis taylor's number.) Exit

- Go back into edit player, Daunte is bulked up. Remove both wristbands and exit.

-Now once you get the hang of it, you don't need to go back in and check if his arms are normal because they are.


Hopefully this helps alot of people out, any questions feel free to ask and I'll answer them but yeah.....I hope people haven't got to far into their roster editing with out noticing this.

But does that mean you can't have accessories for these players?

Yes you can have accessories for these players. Based on what you're doing some might take longer than others but still its possible to get any accessories on any of the players u want, and have them keep their arm size the way it should be.

Another Example:

Travis Taylors needs his number to b #1

- Change his number to #1, and also remove one glove, JUST ONE. Exit

- Go back into edit player, notice the huge arms, add that one glove back on, and the exit. Back to normal size with correct jersey number.


After thinking about it more. For Jersey numbers, take away or add a glove/wrist accessory, then do the opposite when you re-enter edit player.

but even after you edit them the contract glitch is still there

- Enter edit player for the 3rd time, and now you have a #81 randy moss with his normal sized arms.

Basically it goes in a pattern, every other time you edit a player there arms go back down to normal size.

Here's another:

Goal is to remove wrist bands from Daunte Culpepper, along with changing number to 8.

- Go into edit player, change his number to 8 (this is assuming you have 1. signed him to the raiders, and 2. already have made the changes to travis taylor's number.) Exit

- Go back into edit player, Daunte is bulked up. Remove both wristbands and exit.

-Now once you get the hang of it, you don't need to go back in and check if his arms are normal because they are.


Hopefully this helps alot of people out, any questions feel free to ask and I'll answer them but yeah.....I hope people haven't got to far into their roster editing with out noticing this.
So you don't mess up all the accessories can't you just remove the accessories at the same time you change the # than go back and add the accessories back to the player so the arm size is fixed and so is the accessories.

i dont know, i just think its crazy that madden comes out every year yet you have to go through all of that to just change his number. idk, things are getting kind of crazy with this game if you sit back and take all of this stuff in. its almost unbeleivable.

so basically you have to edit a guy twice? so If i wanted to changes moss's number i could first change it to say 1, then go back again and change it to 81? that way i wouldnt have to get rid of any accessories.
