Tell you what. I'm a glutton for punishment. I went to a Best Buy this evening and played Madden 360 on a 40+ inch plasma. That is THE most beautiful looking football game ever! It really is a shame that they couldn't match that look on the PS3 this year.

I just may pick that Show up. Everyone raves about that game. Has the price dropped yet on that?

I think the PS3 will be a great console in the future, but right now it just doesn't stack up against the 360.

That describes an ex-girlfriend I had to a T.
5'6" 210 and hungry all the time.
Her favorite game as a kid was "Hungry Hungry Hippos."
Coincidence? I think Not.


As for Madden on the PS3.
It's not an ugly pig.

Compare it to Current Gen.
Compare it to games of the Past.

All the "it's not Next Gen" comments on all these games coming out.
I'll admit that taking out the lighting effects, HDR effects, etc... not having clouds moving above and shadows (stares at APF 2k8) is a little bit questionable, but still... the high polycounts and the shiny jerseys make up for it. *laughing*

Game Play.
It's where both games actually stand out. I don't care which side of the football fence you fall on. All 3 football games this year are more towards the "Sim" side of life, yet they stay "Fun" which is something that's been lost in "Next Gen Gaming."
