the .5 is for sacks. I have never seen anyone with .5 tackles. Just assisted and solo tackles which all count in the total number of tackles.

If you want a realistic number of tackles, put your starters in on kickoff and punt teams. I myself use the Lions, and I put Ernie Sims and Boss Bailey in on the kickoff team. I put Sims in the first LB slot to the left of the kicker, then kick the ball to the left side. Switch to the two DB's to the left of him, and run them out of the way, and then switch to the LB, and 75% of the time you can run him down and tackle the kick returner.

You are talking Xbox/PS2 then, right ?? If you are able to change players in formations on X360, please share.
