That is freaking hilarious. Good one

Re: Franchise Wishlists

My main wish is for them to just Fix it.

Make a progression system that makes sense.
Realistic stats.
Some presentation.

But overall...just fix it because so far it seems broken.

Re: Franchise Wishlists

But what is the actual advantage of firing my OC and hiring a new one? If it does NOT change my actual playbook, why do it? Strictly for a possible ratings bump in players?

Re: Franchise Wishlists

1-sim stats - always horrible
2-ability to turn preseason off
3-cpu makes stupid moves
4-progression isnt that great, can easily get a team to 99 overall within 4-5 season

Re: Franchise Wishlists

A wishlist isn't really necessary, all they have to do is look at the franchise mode that's in the "last-gen" version and add all of it...But I'll play along and highlight what I'd particularly like to see make the "next-gen" leap:

- Rookie work-outs prior to the draft.
- Weekly newspaper (both national and team specific).
- A full Owner Mode
- Scouting report of your next opponent.
- A Pre-season that actually means something (players should be able to progress after performing well in the pre-season).
- College All-Star game.
- Player Roles
- A Morale guage that effects the players attributes.
- Practice Mode
- Dynasty ticker
- Custom playbooks.

The one thing I did like about the next-gen franchise mode was the scouting and the possible busts/gems in the draft; both of those features need to be fixed/fine tuned next year.

-All of these things would be excellent.

I would also like to see better scouting, player progression, and the Gem/Bust feature sounded good but where is it? Also make the draft better. The draft is almost as big a deal as the actual season to some people, so this needs to be much better. Also the fake rookies should have the potential to become serious all stars in the game to shake things up in franchise mode down the road. Especially players that have great years, they should progress a lot. The manual training should be left in the game but fixed so it's not as tedious and works so you can actually seriously improve players if you focus on the same player for multiple seasons. In the last gen Madden you could take players from the drafts and work on them in the training camps and improve them a lot better then you can now.

Also there needs to be more balance in the draft. I rarely see any great LBs in the draft this year. It's better then last year where the whole first round was DEs, but it still needs more balance.
