Yes, and yes...

Control all 32 teams and each Coach's 'philospophy' will be in coach options. The HB1 / HB2 slider has been broken since '05, so I drop the starter off the depth chart for 3rd down back and sit all starters and start their backups when simming during my teams bye week. Works very well.

Yes, you can play your game and then sim the rest. You also have the option to let the CPU control other parts of the teams by switching control from 'User' to 'CPU' in the 'Team Management' screen. I like to control all 32 in offseason tho, or the CPU will resign everyone and draft players they don't need. It a pain, but it works and then the CPU doesn't relocate teams in Owner Mode. You have to max out all the advertising sliders and make sure they have their 'fan appreciation day' promos for about the first three weeks and then you can switch that back to CPU control until the offseason and they won't move.

I have one restricted FA and one Franchise player for each team, resign two players and cut the rest.

I then draft by using the full 5 minutes to figure out who the team really needs and then around round 4 I switch it to the CPU for the rest of the draft.

Yes, but it doesn't do anything.

Well, sounds like Mike has tried my testing from last yr and said theres still a problem....Im gonna jump into it again and see what I can come up with if theres enough interest???? But based on all my testing previously I know theres no fix for the RB2 getting carries.

Last year Ididn't use any 'global' percentages. I looked at every team's run / pass play percentges individually using the total rush and pass attempts. I noticed that the run heavy teams (those in the 53-54% run range) needed to be bumped up to about 51% pass. The 48 / 52 teams only needed to one or two clicks to the pass side. The pass heavy teams (TB, IND, STL) needed to stay close to the same.

I used these last year and then 'massaged' them every couple of simmed weeks depending on how the stats were looking.

Bears: 56
Bengals: 58
Bills: 54
Broncos: 54
Browns: 55
Bucs: 57
Cards: 57
Chargers: 56
Chiefs: 57
Colts: 59
Cowboys: 57
Dolphins: 57
Eagles: 59
Falcons: 54
49ers: 54
Giants: 56
Jags: 53
Jets: 54
Lions: 54
Packers: 57
Panthers: 58
Pats: 59
Raiders: 56
Rams: 59
Ravens: 53
Redskins: 51
Saints: 54
Seahawks: 58
Steelers: 50
Texans: 54
Titans: 55
Vikings: 57

Might be similar (pun intended, I guess) this year.
